Shipping and returns
Shipping Norway:
- Free shipping when you shop for over NOK 2,000
- Package in the mailbox (Posten) NOK 49
- Package to collection point (Posten) NOK 140
Shipping internationally:
- Europe NOK 79
- The rest of the world NOK 179
- All international orders will be sent by DHL. Shipping takes 1-5 working days, depending on destination. All international orders will be sent as DDU. DDU stands for "delivery duties unpaid". This means that Barby Gray is not responsible for taxes that may apply in your country.
Delivery time:
- Barby Gray packs orders within 1-4 working days. Shipping usually takes 1-3 business days.
- Please note that deliveries may be delayed after they are dispatched. Unfortunately, there is nothing Barby Gray can influence.
- If there is a lot of traffic in the online store, the delivery time may be somewhat longer. We apologize for this in advance.
How to return:
- If you wish to return or exchange a product, please send an email to contact@barbygray.com . After requesting a garment exchange, you must place an order for a new garment within 24 hours to receive it for free.
- When you send an email, please include your full name, products to be returned and order number. We will get back to you with a return slip and further instructions.
You have 14 calendar days to decide whether you want to keep the products, counted from the day you received the package. The products must be returned in their original condition within 14 days. If the return does not arrive within 14 days, it will not be approved and the product will be sent back to you. If you are going to return a product, you need a printer to print the return label and it is your responsibility that the return is sent with the correct return label. If the product should be sent with the wrong return label, there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it.
Who is responsible for returns?
Barby Gray does not cover costs for returning goods. It is with sustainability in mind that we want as few consignments as possible, and that customers order a product before departure in order to order more products exclusively to try them. We also want to avoid unnecessary use of plastic and packaging. Hope for understanding for this.
Cost of return:
Norway: NOK 99
Rest of Europe: 150-250 NOK / 29-37 USD* / 27-35 EUR*
Rest of the world: 300-400 NOK / 29-37 USD* / 27-35 EUR*
If you return more than 3 garments from your order, we invoice NOK 10 per garment.
If you live in Norway, we offer one (1) free exchange per order. If you wish to make a second exchange, we will not cover the cost of that. Follow the same procedure as if you were to make a return. After submitting your return request, you must place a new order within 24 hours to receive the free exchange. We do not offer exchanges of goods abroad.
Refund:
We do not offer refunds for additional costs when shipping the order. The refund for the order will be made in the same way as the order was paid for. The product must be in its original condition when it arrives at the warehouse for a refund to be approved.
It involves:
- All tags are still on
- No marks on the product (no make-up stains)
- No smell
- The product must not be used or washed
When we have received the return, you will receive an e-mail whether the return has been approved or not. It can take up to 10 working days for the money to be back in your bank account.
Cancellation fee:
An order can be canceled as long as the products have not been packed or shipped yet. Send an email to contact@barbygray.com to find out how your order is doing. Please note that there is a cancellation fee of NOK 79.
Package in the mailbox:
Barby Gray is not responsible for packages that are stolen or lost from your mailbox, and we are unable to replace them. If a package has been ordered with "Package in the mailbox", you yourself are responsible after Posten has delivered the package where it is to be delivered.
Product defect:
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective in any way, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the product. There could be, for example, a loose thread, a stain, a missing button etc. We will then send you a new product. Barby Gray does not accept returns on products that have been used and where the fault may have occurred because of it. An assessment will be made of the error on the product and the outcome will be determined based on that. If there is a manufacturing fault, you will receive a new product and Barby Gray will cover all costs involved. If you do not inform us of the fault within 24 hours, we will not replace the product.
If you receive the wrong product, we guarantee the option of a refund or exchange for the correct product at no cost. This must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product for it to apply. Please return the faulty product within 14 days. We send a return label, which requires a printer on your side to be able to print it. If the incorrectly sent product is not sent back within 14 days, this will result in us invoicing the full price for the product. If we are not notified within 24 hours we will not replace or refund.
If you have not received your package after it says it has been delivered, contact us within 24 hours.
Wrong address in Norway:
We are not responsible for costs that may arise if you have given the wrong address for the shipment, do not have a name on your mailbox, you are not registered at your address, or have notified Posten of moving. If we receive returns due to any of these things, you will be invoiced NOK 49 in Norway. If you order this solution abroad, you will also be invoiced NOK 49 for the cancellation, since the solution is only for Norway.
Packages that are not picked up on time in Norway:
If a parcel is not picked up in time at the post office or other location, you will be invoiced for the costs this entails. If the package is not picked up and it is returned to us, you will be invoiced NOK 250.
All attempts at fraud will be noted and reported to the police. If your package has not arrived and it says delivered, contact us within 24 hours.
Inventory:
Barby Gray does its best to ensure all colors and sizes are in stock at all times. If you order a product that is no longer in stock, you will receive a gift card or a refund for the product.

Orders abroad
Costs and fees:
All orders abroad are sent with DDU. DDU stands for "delivery duties unpaid". This means that Barby Gray is not responsible for costs that may apply in your country.
Any fees are not something that is refunded, when a product is returned.
Unpaid fee:
When Barby Gray sends packages overseas and they are refused, you will be responsible for costs related to shipping, additional fees, and return costs.
